Cats

Many cat species are being pushed to the point of extinction by human encroachment on there habitats. The clearing of rainforest in Sumatra and poaching, is killing off the rare and endangered Sumatran tiger. The Bengal tiger is losing habitat and as humans move ever closer the interaction between humans and this majestic animal is resulting in unsustainable losses. The poaching of tigers for the Chinese medicine market are depleting numbers also. The Clouded Leopard of Eastern India is running out of habitat also and is on the endangered species list. The Snow Leopard and the Siberian Tiger are endangered also with poachers and hunters killing off their numbers.
